The Village of Western Springs is a quiet bedroom community of some 12,500 residents,  mostly professionals. These thirty something professionals have an easy commute of about seventeen miles to Chicago making Western Springs and owning a Chicagoland home a perfect situation for raising a family in a peaceful environment and, above all, convenient to everything.

Western Springs Real Estate is often bought up and then torn down making way for newer and larger DuPage County homes replacing the many older homes.  Most of the new homes are upscale, multi-million dollar luxury estates.  Although very affordable, there are still many older solid brick ranch style homes, condominiums and townhouses available in this solid and proud community.

Still in the planning phase is Timber Trails, a new DuPage County home development of 234 homes. The present plans call for 143 four and five bedroom upscale homes, 91 smaller homes and 105 town homes that will be retiree friendly. This new planned community will include 33 acres of Chicagoland Real Estate with much open preserved space, and diverse recreational facilities for the Western Springs Village residents.
