Indian Head Park

The village of Indian Head Park was developed in 1959 on the site of two (2) golf courses.  It is located 18 miles southwest of the Loop.  The population has expanded by more than 600 percent since 1970.  The village is quite small, encompassing only two square miles.

Indian Head Park has a mix of single family homes, town houses, and high rise condominiums.  A small section of Indian Head Park is zoned for commercial use.

Most elementary school students attend District 106, but a few attend in District 107.  High school student attend the two campuses of Lyons Township High School, District 204, in Western Springs and LaGrange.
